Yukon Tourism Development Strategy

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Yukon Tourism Development Strategy engagement. Over 500 Yukoners participated through our online survey, by sharing their thoughts in a formal submission, or in-person at one of our 55 engagement sessions.

In total, we received over 11,000 comments about how to sustainably grow tourism in the territory. These comments have been reviewed and condensed into a What We Heard Summary Report that outlines the core values and ideas Yukoners put forward.

Feedback from Yukoners has been shared with the Yukon Tourism Development Strategy Steering Committee. They are now working on developing a strategy in which all Yukoners can see themselves. We expect this strategy will be available for public comment later this Fall.

Visit our engagement website to learn more about the project, or to read about what was said in your community.

Nominations for Boards that serve the Yukon Arts Sector

Positions on these boards are appointed by the Minister of Tourism and Culture. Vacancies are filled through a public nomination process where you can nominate yourself or someone else to sit on the boards. However, you can contact Boards and Committees at any time and submit an application and résumé for either board, in anticipation of upcoming vacancies.
